About The Swale Assembly

The Swale Assembly is Sittingbourne's newest independent live music venue with a standing capacity of 230. The venue is situated in the former iconic Burton building built in 1937, located on Sittingbourne's historic High Street.

The Swale Assembly is brought to you by the team behind The Booking Hall Dover. The Swale Assembly boasts great in-house sound and lighting equipment along with a large stage area.  Our aim is provide a professional space for touring original acts, touring tributes and emerging grassroots talent. The Swale Assembly will be something Sittingbourne and the surrounding areas can be proud of.

Location

The Swale Assembly is located on Sittingbourne High Street in the heart of the town centre, making it easily accessible from all directions.

Bus – Buses run frequently from all nearby areas (Maidstone, Faversham, Sheerness, Chatham) and stop at Sittingbourne town centre which is just a short walk from the venue. Services are operated by Stagecoach and Chalkwell.

Train – Closest train station to The Swale Assembly is Sittingbourne Station (5 minute walk). There is a high speed link to London from this station (approximately 1 hour to London St Pancras). Sittingbourne also has services to London Victoria, and connects to Faversham, Margate, Ramsgate, and the Isle of Sheppey.

Parking – There are several car parks in Sittingbourne town centre including the Central Car Park on Central Avenue and the Forum Shopping Centre car park. On-street parking is also available on surrounding streets. Please read signs where you choose to park and be mindful of parking restrictions.

Walking/Driving – The venue is located on Sittingbourne High Street. Follow signs for the town centre.

Tickets - Tickets will be sold online, you will not be posted physical tickets. Please bring your confirmation to the venue, or have them on your smartphone. Lost E-tickets, as long as you have suitable ID, Passport/Driving License we can check on our systems at the venue.
